Business Track Internship
Bonbouton is a start-up medical device company that produces a smart insole to detect diabetic foot ulcers before they happen. Bonbouton’s smart insole contains proprietary embedded graphene sensors that monitor patient's feet health. The insole helps to prevent foot ulcers and reduce the frequency of physician visits. Patients wearing the insole have the ability to allow access to the associated digital application so that their insurance company, physician or other relevant individuals may monitor their daily activity.
What you’ll do :
For Bonbouton’s Business Track internship, duties will incorporate areas of entrepreneurship, marketing and regulatory affairs.
Duties will depend both upon company needs and student interests.
The intern should have an interest in start-ups, entrepreneurship, and learning skills for the business world. Strong candidates will have excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Sample projects for an intern could include:
Put together a core messaging and brand book; work on story flow and voiceover of next version of brand video
Work on business plan template
Social Media / Marketing Strategy / Digital Marketing: How to target interested groups with email
Regulatory work - Support COO, contract, and legal team in researching strategy for Medicare reimbursement as well as 510k medical device pre-clearance applications with the FDA; Research other opportunities in regulatory agencies, including DoD, VA, CMS, etc
Assist with investor/pitch decks
Assist with cap table and funding strategy support
Assist with branding strategy and communications
Work with CEO and COO for creating marketing strategy post-product launch
Supply Chain / Operations: Support research in supply chain and logistics, from global manufacturing to scaling operations and sales to providers, hospitals, and consumers in US and worldwide
Must have eligibility to work in the U.S.
